The Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu has again assured Nigerians of the commission’s readiness to conduct a free, fair and credible Election come Saturday November 6 governorship poll in Anambra State.
Mahmood stated this during a brief meeting with heads of Security Agencies and management, staff of the Commission when he arrived Awka the Anambra State capital ahead of the stakeholders meeting on Wednesday.
Briefing newsmen, the INEC boss maintained that all is set for the November 6 polls.

The police Commissioner in charge of Anambra State command Echeng Echeng briefed the management of the electoral body of the security preparedness, adding that the police in collaboration with other security agencies will lock down entries and exit routes of the state to ensure adequate protection for both the electorate and INEC officials for a peaceful conduct of the polls.
The INEC Chairman is expected to meet with all Political actors and other stakeholders on Wednesday to harmonize collaboration to achieve a violent free Election come November 6 2021.
