Like a cat with nine lives, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has again been reelected chairman, Anambra State Football Association, for the second time in a week.
The president, FC Ifeanyi Ubah was adjudged to have returned unopposed in a botched election last week.
Controversies bothering on compliance with Covid-19 protocols, eligibility, safety and security of lives raised concerns about the credibility of the July 27 Anambra State FA election.
However, the Jude Anyadofu led electoral committee made history by organising the first virtual football association election on Sunday August 2.

Anyadofu declared incumbent chairman of the Anambra State football association, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and his vice, Barrister Jude Obikwelu reelected in a duly signed notification of result.
The document affirmed that the incumbent chairman and vice were unopposed in the election
A veteran sports journalist, Joe Amene got on the board for the first time, the document also noted that Onitsha South LGA which was a tie could be decided by the toss of coin while elections into 19 out of 20 local football councils were also concluded with a bye election scheduled for OIrumba Local Government Area on a later date.
