The Governor Mai Mala Buni-led All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, has appointed a six-member reconciliation committee for the Ekiti State Chapter of the party.
The chapter has been embroiled in the crisis leading to opposing factions suspending Governor Kayode Fayemi and the Special Assistant to President Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu.
Though the National Secretariat nullified the suspensions, there are fears of deep animosity among chieftains of the party which has necessitated the reconciliation committee.
