The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, says his party will not lose Edo State in next year governorship election despite insinuations in some quarters.
Addressing State House correspondents after leading a delegation of the 36 state chairmen of the party on a courtesy visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, Oshiomhole insisted that the crisis in the party is normal in a democratic setting.

He, however, noted that the APC’s highest organ recently constituted a committee to resolve the crisis in Edo and other states.
The APC leader expressed optimism that things will return to normal soon.
Oshiomhole explained that the 36 state chairmen and the FCT were at the Aso Rock Villa on a solidarity visit to President Buhari.
He said the President appreciates the role played by the chairmen in their respective states.
