The Court of Appeal in Abuja has dismissed an appeal filed by Edozie Njoku and Chinedu Okoro, challenging the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Kano Division, delivered on August 10, which had affirmed Victor Oye as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Ruling on the appeal filed against Sylvester Ezeokenwa and five others, the court in a unanimous decision, held that the appeal constituted an abuse of court process, having been bound by the judgment of the Kano Division, delivered on August 10.

The three-man panel of justices led by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban- Mensem said, the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit, because doing so, will amount to sitting on its judgment.
The sum of Ten million Naira was also awarded against the appellant, in favour of Sylvester Ezeokenwa and the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
