The Nigerian Army has raided a mosque located at Filin Lazio, Hotoro, in Kano metropolis and arrested about 10 suspected Boko Haram members on Saturday evening.
The operation that lasted less than one hour took place while Muslims were breaking their fast.
Army spokesperson in the state, Captain Njoka Irabor, in a phone chat with AIT confirmed the arrest and said it is an ongoing exercise.

He said an official statement will be issued soon.
The arrest of the suspected Boko Haram members led to pandemonium as many of the residents were scared as the soldiers searched house-to-house.
