The Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade, has congratulated media magnate and founder of DAAR Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, on his 68th birthday.
Ayade in a message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Christian Ita, described Dokpesi as a patriotic Nigerian who is striving to make a difference on the continent of Africa using his media platforms.
The Governor said AIT, Ray Power FM, and Faaji FM stations across the country and beyond which Dokpesi established as the first private broadcast station in Nigeria, have continue to tell the story of Africa from the African perspective to the entire world.
He said Cross River State has enjoyed tremendous relationship with the media outfit, praying God Almighty to preserve and protect him as he turns three scores and eight.
