Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, has signed the Livestock Grazing Management Bill 2022, into law.
The law which provides opportunities and sanctions for both farmers and herders,will provide lasting solution to the incessant Crisis for the herding business, especially along the border lines.
While signing the Bill into law, Ayade said Cross River will protect both the farmers and Herders in ensuring that both of sides do their businesses legitimately.
He Commended the State House of Assembly for considering the interest of all the citizens of the state in making the law.

The speaker of the State House of Assembly ,Etengs Williams said the law will manage the state livestock, including their movement across the eighteen Local Government Areas of the State.
Governor Ayade also assented to the Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission Bill which is aimed at bringing transparency and accountability to the state Projects and programmes.
