A First Generation Bank’s main branch in Jos, the Plateau State capital, North Central Nigeria, has temporarily shut its doors after a cashier with the bank tested positive for the dreaded Coronavirus.
The bank located within one of the busiest areas in Jos was immediately closed down to avoid further spread of the virus.
Confirming the development to AIT, state commissioner for Health Nimkong Lar said the infected person has been moved to the isolation center and has started receiving treatment.
Lar added that contact tracing has commenced.

He called on people of the state to adhere to laid down guidelines in order to stop the spread of the dreaded virus .
As at the time of filing in this report, fumigation exercise is being carried out at the premises of the Bank for safety.
