The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to the prioritization of the health sector in the state.
Bala Mohammed disclosed this when he received a consignment of medicines, worth more than N10 billion Naira, donated to the state government by a foreign partner.
The Governor said that the gesture will complement his administration’s effort, towards improving the health care service delivery to the people and other neighboring states.

The Senior Special Assistant on Multilateral Affairs to Bauchi State Governor, Isah Saleh, who represented the donor agency said that the donation of the multi-billion Naira medicines, may not be unconnected with the good management of the health care sector, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, by the Bala Mohammed led administration.
Some of the health organizations expressed gratitude that the gesture came at a time when the state is in dire need of support and assured of maximum cooperation, towards the utilization of the products.
