The Police in Bauchi have confirmed the arrest of four suspects in connection with the discovery of General Purpose Machine Gun, GPMG, ammunition as well as other incriminating devices.
The discovery led to the demolition of a four room apartment at Unguwan Mahaukata in the State Metropolis.
This was disclosed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, while parading the suspects before Journalists in Bauchi.
Police spokesman Ahmed Wakili said, the arrest was made following an intelligence report.
The command also paraded a 32-year-old Abdullahi Adamu of Giade Local Government, who was alleged to have raped and infected a teenage girl with HIV,
as confirmed by the medical doctors, alongside another suspect, a woman who burnt the private part of her stepdaughter.
Some of the suspects who confessed to the different crimes and charges, expressed regret for their involvement and promised to repent.

The Police spokesman, also said that investigation is ongoing, and calls on the general public not to relent in providing the force with useful and verifiable information that would facilitate the arrest
of more criminals.
