Bauchi State Government says three additional Coronavirus cases have tested negative after 14 days of treatment and have been discharged.
Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Taskforce, Baba Tela, said this brings to four the number of discharged cases, including the State Governor, Bala Mohammed, who was the index case.
Briefing reporters on COVID-19 and the Lassa fever outbreak in the state, Tela said all the six cases in the state have tested negative after sample tests at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, in Abuja.
The Deputy Governor also announced the closure of two popular second-hand clothes markets in the state until further notice.
