The Bauchi State Government says it will soon lift the embargo placed on employment into the state civil service to address the numerous challenges facing the health care sector in the state.
Governor Bala Mohammed stated this at the 2019 End of Year Primary Health Care in Bauchi Review with some development partners.

Discussions on the review centred on how to improve health care delivery in the state.
The United States Agency for International Development, USAID, United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, Bill and Milinda Gate Foundation, Aliko Dangote Foundation, and the Ministry of Health, commended Bauchi State on the progress made so far in health care delivery.
The partners pledged to support the administration of Governor Mohammed to address the numerous health issues facing the state.
Highlight of the meeting was the signing of the Third Integrated Primary Healthcare Memorandum of Understanding with the development partners.
