The Bayelsa State Government has announced the sum of two billion Naira as balance brought forward from the month of October 2019, after recurrent and capital expenditures.
The Special Adviser to Governor Seriake Dickson on Treasury and Accounts, Timipre Seipulo, while giving a breakdown of both income and expenditure for the month of October 2019, disclosed the sum of 19.8 billion Naira as gross inflows comprising a statutory allocation of 3.3 billion, derivation of 10.4 billion, and Value Added Tax of 7 million among others.
Seipulo also gave a breakdown of outflow for the month of October 2019, which saw the total of two billion Naira as balance in the state coffers after capital and recurrent payments as at the end of October.
The Governor’s spokesman, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, also shared that the last transparency briefing would be presided over by Governor Dickson to make clear his administration’s stewardship in the last eight years in office which would include all the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
