Benue State Government says it has taken delivery of 50,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from the Federal Government.
The Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Ngunan Addingi made this known in Makurdi the state capital, shortly after the State Executive Council meeting.
She also disclosed that the Council equally approved the participation of Benue State in the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus, NG-CARES programme.
In line with the state government’s commitment to address the prolonged pensions in the state, the Council ratified the commencement of the monthly remittances.

The Council also approved the formal transfer of ownership of the defunct Lobi Bank building in Makurdi belonging to the Benue Investment and Property Company, BIPC to the Benue Internal Revenue Service, BIRS, as the revenue agency’s permanent headquarters.
