The Principal of St. Gabriel’s Secondary School Makurdi, Father John Asen, has been directed to proceed on administrative leave with immediate effect.
His suspension followed a petition accusing him of allegedly assaulting one of the students of the school.
The directive was handed down by the Diocesan, Bishop Wilfred Anagbe who asked the principal to vacate his office after a preliminary investigation into the matter.
