The Benue State University, situated in Makurdi the State capital has joined other higher institutions of learning to reopen several months after the prolonged holiday.
Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Tor Iorapuu says examinations will be written in batches to ensure strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols as students heave a sigh of relief several months after being out of school.
Their examination was disrupted first by the prolonged ASUU strike and then the infectious Coronavirus pandemic.
When ait.live visited, Vice Chancellor of the State owned institution Of higher learning, Professor Tor Iorapuu was on ground to access its level of preparedness in view of the peculiarities of the time.

Aside other measures taken the university don futher explained that examination time table had been modified to suit the new normal.
From the lecture halls to the library, faculty of law ,arts and medical sciences all hands were on deck to ensure a smooth resumption and containment of the spread of the second wave.
