Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has approved the selection of Daniel Ismaila Shagah as the new Hama Bachama following the death of the 28th ruler of the Bachama kingdom, Honest Irmiya Stephen last month.
Governor Fintiri in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Humwhashi Wonosikou congratulated the new Hama Bachama and commended the kingmakers for a peaceful process that led to the choice of Shagah.
He said as a trained Narcotics Officer and technocrat, he has no doubt in the capacity of the new royal father to lead his people right. He particularly praised the peaceful disposition of the new ruler stressing that the new Hama Bachama should build on the legacies of late Honest Stephen who stood tall during his reign in peacebuilding initiatives.

The Governor urged him to bring to bear on his community and the entire State his wealth of experience at a time that the State is passing through challenges of growth and development.
Governor Fintiri appeals to the Bachama people to maintain the spirit of peace and the cultural norms of their forefathers.
