Adamawa State Government has joined the list of states with Coronavirus cases.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri in a statewide broadcast said the index case is a returnee from Kano who submitted himself for examination after his self isolation.
The Governor stated that the State Coronavirus Containment Committee submitted three samples on April 20, and one came back positive this Wednesday.
Governor Fintiri said contact tracing has commenced.

He, therefore, called on the people of Adamawa State to brace up for a total lockdown which will be announced soon and urged the people not to panic but observe all precautionary measures.
