The Abuja division of the court of appeal upholds the July 16 election that produced Ademola Adeleke’s as Governor-Elect, of Osun state, dismissing the decision of the Osun State tribunal which directed that a certificate of return be withdrawn from Adeleke and issued to Oyetola
The court upheld the issue of BVAS against Oyetola stating that the Osun state tribunal was wrong to have said there was over voting and only relying on the evidence by the Oyetola and APC, and as such doesn’t prove their case in anyway.
The judge faulted that Oyetola and APC relied only in the data from the back end server and failed to look at the voters register which forms the foundation of the whole electoral process and as such cannot strengthen their allegations of over voting.
