Discharged Covid-19 patients in Nigeria now over 2,000

The total number of successfully treated and discharged Covid-19 patients in Nigeria is now 2,007. This follows the discharge of 10 more patients across the country.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 245 new infections in 22 states bringing the total number of cases to 7,261.

The 245 new cases of Covid-19 include 131 in Lagos, 16 in Jigawa, 13-Ogun, 12 in Borno, 9 Kaduna, Oyo, Rivers and Ebonyi

Others are 8 in Kano, 7 in Kwara, 5 in Katsina, 3 each in Akwa Ibom and Sokoto, 2 each in 2-Bauchi and Yobe, 1 each in Anambra, Gombe, Niger, Ondo, Plateau, FCT snd Bayelsa.

The data also shows that 10 new deaths were recorded in the country in the last 24 hours bringing the death toll to 221.
