The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 389 new cases in the country with Kogi State recording its first cases of the virus.
At least 22 states reported new cases including Lagos-256, Katsina-23, Edo-22, Rivers-14, Kano-13, Adamawa-11, Akwa Ibom-11, Kaduna-7 and 6 in Kwara and Nasarawa.
Others are 2 cases each in Gombe, Plateau, Abia, Delta, Benue, Niger, Kogi and Oyo with 1 each in Imo, Borno, Ogun and Anambra.
Cross River is now the only state in Nigeria yet to report any case of Covid-19 infection as the country now has 8,733 confirmed cases.

The figures show that 116 Covid-19 patients were discharged across Nigeria bringing the number of successfully treated cases in the country to 2,501 with death toll of 254.
