In the last 24 hours, 20 states in Nigeria have recorded 453 new Covid-19 infections. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in country to 46,140.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed the new Covid-19 infections in FCT-75; Lagos-71; Benue-53; Delta-39; Borno-30; Enugu-25; Plateau-24 and Osun-20.
Others are in Abia-19; Oyo-17; Kaduna-16; Kano-13; Ebonyi-13; Ogun-9; Kwara-7; Ondo-6; Gombe-3; Ekiti-2; Akwa Ibom and Rivers-1 each.
There are 407 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 33,044.
Meanwhile, 6 new Covid-19 fatalities were reported in Nigeria with the national death toll at 942.
