President Muhammadu Buhari has set up a committee to examine the impact of Coronavirus on the economy.
The five-member committee is made up of the Minister of Finance, budget and national planning Zainab Ahmed, minister of state budget and national planning Godwin Agba, minister of state for petroleum Timipre Sylva, Governor of central bank Godwin Emefiele and the group managing director of NNPC Mele Kyari.

Briefing State House correspondents after a meeting with President Buhari on Monday, Chairman of the Committee and Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, said the Committee has been directed to make a quick assessment of the effect of the Coronavirus especially as it affects the crude oil prices.
The Committee is expected to brief President Buhari on its findings.
