President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the 13th weekly virtual Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting at the Presidential Villa.
Twelve Federal Permanent Secretaries appointed in June have been administered the oath of office by President Buhari.
This was shortly before the commencement of today’s FEC meeting, the 13th virtual edition.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, was among top Federal Government officials at the event.
The new permanent secretaries are Shuaib Mohammad Belgore, Akinlade Oluwatoyin, Ekpa Anthonia, Alkali Bashir Nura, Ardo Babayo Kumo, and Anyanwutaku Adaora lfeoma.
Others are Udoh Moniloja Omokunmi, Hussaini Babangida, Mohammed Aliyu Ganda, Mahmuda Mamman, Meribole Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, and Peter Tarfa.

The President also swore in a Commissioner for the Federal Civil Service Commission, Idahagbon Henry, and another for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Usman Hassan.
