President Mohammadu Buhari has warned University Management Boards to be prepared to face the law if they violate Federal Character provisions in their selection and appointment processes.
Speaking at the inauguration of the boards of 13 federal universities, Buhari who was represented by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu also tasked the university authorities to kick strongly against sexual harassment, cultists and religious intolerance.
The newly inaugurated boards are those of Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, Federal University Lafiya, Nasarrawa State, Federal University Kashere, Gombe State, Federal University Wukari, Taraba State and Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina State.
Others are Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa state, Federal University Ndufu-alike, Ebonyi state, Federal university stoke, Bayelsa state and Federal University Birnin Kebbi.

The Minister also inaugurated the boards of the Federal University Gashua, Yobe state, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State and Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State
