Catholic bishops in Nigeria on Sunday defied the rains to lead the faithful on a prayer procession in Abuja, the nation’s capital to protest against the unending killings in the country.
The procession, which commenced from the National Christain Centre in the Central Business District, was greeted with the first rains in the city which the Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Godfrey Onah, said is a sign of answered prayers.

The Catholic Bishops are calling on the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government to do all within its powers in sincerity to stop what they call senseless killings.
