The Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Bauchi State Command has inaugurated 35 Female Special Squad to be deployed in female boarding schools, as well as special areas across Bauchi state.
The development is aimed at curbing the security challenges in Nigeria.

According to the state Commandant, Nurudeen Abdullahi, this is in line with the directives of the Commandant-General, Ahmed Abdulkadiir Audi.
The composition of the special female squad of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, according to the state Commandant, will also address the numerous challenges of crime among women in Nigeria

The Commissioner of Police, Sylvester Alabi, who spoke on behalf of the other sister security agencies, lauded the effort of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps for the initiative.
