Residents of Popo, Elere, Ojutaye, Mogaji, Yakoyo, Badiko communities along Ballah road in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State have sent a save our soul message to the Kwara State government.

The people say, the government has neglected them as they lack basic amenities ranging roads, health facilities, and schools in the area.

They said the cost of transportation from Ilorin the state capital to the affected communities has increased drastically and access to portable water as well as befitting schools for their children are not within their reach.

Meanwhile, efforts made to get the reaction of the state commissioner for works, Rotimi Iliasu, proved abortive as he did not pick his calls.
