The Federal Government has been asked to intervene in the withheld certificates of more than two hundred youths under the Niger Delta Development Commission Computer Technology Skills Acquisition Programme.
Spokesman of the graduates , Eyindah Ikechi said the acquisition programme which took place in selected states among the nine Niger Delta states in 2019 was made to support the youths to get jobs and opportunities available in multinational companies.
Ikechi said the delay in the release of the certificates has stalled their pursuit of these job openings.

The spokesman added that they have waited on the management of NDDC since 2019 and querries the consistent use of the outbreak of the covid 19 pandemic as a cover for the delay.
According to lkechi, the trainings took place in Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa States, in September 2019.
Efforts to get the NDDC management to react to the development was unsuccessful as the number of the Director of communications could not be reached.
