Conflicts of interest have hit the Miyetti Allah cattle breeders Association, Bauchi State Branch, following the emergence of two factions, barely Nine months, after the election for the seat of State Chairman.
The two chairmen of the association were seen holding separate meetings in the state capital, with each claiming to be the leader.
The conflict for the leadership of Miyetti Allah cattle Breeders Association is between the previous Chairman and his Secretary, who also contested for the post.
The Election was held in the presence of security agents as well as some stakeholders.
The result of the election was declared by the chairman of the electoral committee.
Sadiq Ibrahim who was said to have won the election, accused the National Chairman of having an interest in the election.
However, the former chairman of the association, Abdullahi Maishanu, debunked the claims by Sadiq Ibrahim, describing it as baseless.
He therefore, insisted that he won the election.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has been called upon to intervene before the situation gets out of hand.
