Godosky FC, a Nigeria nationwide league one side has given out palliatives in the form of staple food worth millions of Naira to people of Nnewi -South, Anambra State, South East Nigeria.
The materials, which included a thousand bags of rice, tubers of yam, and a thousand cartons of processed tomatoes were distributed among five communities.
President of Godosky FC, Eloka Godwin, appealed to the wealthy to buttress efforts of the government in catering for the vulnerable in the period of the global pandemic, COVID -9.
In a related development, French Ligue 1 leaders, Paris Saint Germain, are providing 1,200 meals per day to hospital staff in Paris during the COVID-19 crisis.

The French champions are using match day food trucks and the help of 60 volunteers to prepare and deliver the food.
So far, the club has delivered 5,000 meals and it aims to eventually provide 25,000 for the French capital’s healthcare workers.
