As Nigerians battle with the second phase of Covid 19, the Victims Support Fund, VSF Task Force on Covid 19, has handed over Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities to three Secondary Schools in Abia State.
Speaking during the handover ceremony at Ndiakata Secondary School in Obingwa LGA, the Chairperson of the Task Force, Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji said the donation is part of the third phase of the intervention projects.
According to Akerele-Ogunsiji, the schools were among the fifty four selected in eighteen States across the six geo-political zones.
Each of the schools received a solar-power borehole, four handwash stations, two thousand pieces of removable face masks, five pieces of four-liter hand sanitizers, among other items.

The beneficiaries schools are Abam High School Ozu Abam, Arochukwu, Community Secondary School, Umuahia North, and Ndiakata Secondary school in Obingwa LGA.
