Delta State government has sealed the bars of four hotels for the violation of COVID-19 protocols after the partial re-opening of hospitality business in the state.
Secretary to the state government, Chiedu Ebie, who led the COVID-19 committee on inspection of some hotels in Asaba and its environs expressed disappointment at the flagrant violation of the physical distancing order mostly in bars and restaurants of the four hotels not approved for re-opening.
Accompanied by the state commissioner for information, Charles Aniagwu, Mr. Ebie observer that the increased number of COVID-19 cases in the state has been a source of concern to the government, hence its resolve to the total compliance of the COVID-19 protocols as released by the government.

The secretary to Delta State government then announced the immediate closure of all restaurants, bars, and night clubs in hotels and guest houses in the state until further notice.
