The Department of Petroleum Resources in Gombe state has sealed the main mega Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation petrol station in Gombe metropolis.
The Controller of the agency Yerima Kollomi says the sealing was due to under dispensing of petroleum products despite warnings from the Department of Petroleum Resources.

The Department of Petroleum Resources says it would continue monitoring the sales of these products in the metropolis and the state at large.
According to officials of the agency, the infraction was first reported in March this year but the NNPC petrol station did not heed the warnings of the DPR and had continued under dispensing the product.
The department of Petroleum Resources assures the people of the state of its resolve to ensure petrol stations abide by the guidelines in the sales of the products.
Efforts to reach officials of the NNPC proved abortive as the officials were unwilling to react to the development citing the nonavailability of the senior manager of the petrol sales outlet.
