Katsina State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has secured twenty-four convictions last month.
This was contained in a statement signed by the state spokesman of the agency, Mustapha Maikudi.
The convicts bagged jail terms ranging from three to forty eight months.
Some of those convicted by the Federal High Court, Katsina, include 39-year old Dan umma from Funtua Local Government Area who bagged six months after being arrested with cannabis Sativa and psychotropic substances.
30-year old Rabiu Abdullahi from Kankia Area Council, who got 12 Months, and 22-year old Saifullahi Abdullahi from Katsina Area Council, is to serve two years in prison.
Others are 22-year-old Musa Umar from Bakori area council with 3 months arrested with cannabis Sativa, and 22-year-old Imrana Musa from Dan Musa area council with 48 months who was arrested with cannabis Sativa.

The statement further said all the convicts have commenced serving their jail terms at correctional services centers in Katrina State
