The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC) Lagos state command, Segun Ogungbemide has cautioned commuters intending to travel for the Easter celebrations to be wary of the roadworthiness of their vehicles.
In an exclusive interview with AIT, ahead of the command’s preparations at ensuring accident free and free flow of traffic during the Easter celebrations, Ogungbemide explained that ensuring sanity on the roads during this period should not be left solely to drivers and road traffic personnel.
He urged intending travellers to take time to physically run a check on the drivers as well as the conditions of the vehicles before embarking on any journey.
