Following the recent looting of Covid19 palliative items by some unidentified hoodlums who stormed a warehouse in Ede, the state government has reacted to rumors circulating on social Media that it deliberately hoarded the items from the people.
Speaking in Ibadan on the allegations, the Secretary to the Osun State Food Palliative Committee said, contrary to the information being spread, the food palliatives does not belong to the government.

He said government only provided a warehouse to store the food items which were expected being flagged off.

Bayo Jimoh reiterated the state government’s commitment to the people as demonstrated during the first batch of palliative distribution in April and June this year.
He urged the people to remain calm and said that the government has already planned the second batch of the palliatives before the ENDSARS broke out.
