Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has dismissed rumours that he lost his ward in the 2019 general elections, saying those who made up the story forget election results are documented.
Governor Obaseki also said there was no iota of truth in the allegation that he forged his university certificate.
He gave the clarifications when he visited ward leaders and principal officers of his ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oredo Local Government Area of the State.
Edo Governorship election is scheduled for September 19, 2020, with political parties gearing up for electioneering campaigns amid Covid-19 pandemic.
