Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has vowed to deal with anyone who intends to instigate violence before, during and after the governorship election in the state.
Governor Obaseki made this known when he received executive members of the National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS and other student union executives on a solidarity visit to the Government House in Benin city.
The Governor warned that there will be zero tolerance to electoral violence and called on security agencies to be proactive to their responsibilities.

Obaseki also advised the students not to take the law into their own hands; urging them to embark on a house to house campaign for a better future.
