The Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu has said the state is in dire need of a visionary leader like him to transform it to greatness.
The APC candidate who stated this at the 2020 Mega summit of Non Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Organizations and Labour sub- committees berated the educational policies of the incumbent Governor and candidate of the PDP Godwin Obaseki.
With less than 2 weeks to the Edo State Governorship election, Ize-Iyamu told the summit that his Simple Agenda manifesto contains all the ingredients necessary to turn around Edo in no time.
He said Edo State is in the poor condition it is today because it lacked visionary leadership.

Ize Iyamu said he hopes to fill the vacuum if elected as Governor come September 19.
Osagie Ize-Iyamu also faulted the education policies of Obaseki; accusing him of planning to increase the tuition fee of State owed tertiary institution, Ambrose Alli university, Ekpoma after the Governorship Election from 56,000 Naira to N300, 000.
The former Secretary to the Edo State Government appealed to the NGOs, CSOs’ and labour committees to carry the message of his Simple Agenda manifesto to their various communities and ensure his victory come september 19.
