The Edo State executive of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP ,has described the purported suspension of the national vice chairman of PDP South-South, Dan Orbih by the leadership of the PDP in Edo North as fake and the figment of the imagination of saboteurs.
Information had gone round in the social media that Orbih, and ward four chairman of the party in Oredo local government area, Friday Ihama, and four others have been suspended.

A statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Nehikhare, noted that the purported Suspension was a joke taken too far.
He said the PDP in Edo State is constrained to react to the unacceptable and regrettable behavior of some of its members in the last few hours, describing the authors of that offensive press release as Trouble brewers sponsored by fifth columnists which he said is unacceptable, null and void.
He urged Nigerians, Edo people, and especially PDP members and supporters to ignore the post, press release or communique purporting that the National Vice Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih and other elected officials of the party from Edo North Senatorial district have been suspended.
