Ahead of Eid El-Kabir, Police in Kano have banned all kinds of festivities including horse riding, parties and games.
A statement signed by the police public relations officer DSP Haruna Abdullahi also warned Muslim faithful not to carry any object to Eid praying grounds other than praying mats.
The police say any act by individual or group that may lead to breach of peace will be met with full wrath of the law.

The statement while wishing Kano residents happy Sallah advised worshippers to observe social distance, wear facemasks and use of hand sanitizers as preventive measures against covid19.
