Election in Sagbama peaceful -Voters

Electorates in Sagbama Area Council have described the electoral process as peaceful and hitch-free.

The voting process commenced at about 9:15am in some of the communities visited including Toru-Orua and Ofoni, which are the communities of the incumbent Governor Seriake Dickson and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Senator Lawrence Ewruhhakpor respectively.

Some of the electorates who spoke after casting their votes commended the electoral body for their efforts and expressed happiness with the peaceful atmosphere.

A resident of Toru Orua community, Mrs Ebi Kate, on her part, frowned at electorates who neglect exercising their civic responsibility.

AIT’s correspondent, Ndubuisi Patrick reporter that some polling units in Sagbama, where relocated due to flooding, while security presence is quite remarkable.
