The minister of the Federal Capital Territory Muhammad Bello says adequate security deployment has been put in place to forestall any further break down of law and order in Abuja the nation’s capital
The minister said this during an extended emergency security meeting in Abuja which is part of measures by the administration to find a lasting solution to the violence triggered by the attacks on the peaceful #Endsars protesters in the Nation’s capital
The minister also said a committee will be set up to pay compensation to all those affected by the violent attacks.

Those attending the meeting include The senator representing the FCT in the National Assembly, Philip Aduda FCT Commissioner of Police Bala Ciroma, the FCT commandant of the Nigeria security and civil defense corps, chairmen of the six area councils, religious and traditional leaders
Others are, leaders of market association and establishments. The minister while addressing the audience stressed the need for a more united front to address the security challenges created by the protests
The minister also appealed to leaders and stakeholders to continue to maintain peace in their various communities
On the agitation for the government to end SARS, the minister advised the youths to give peace a chance and explore the option of dialogue to enable government meet their demands
