The Edo State Police Command says eight persons have been arrested in connection with the looting of the State Government warehouse that had medical supplies and COVID-19 palliatives.
This was made known by the Police Public Relations Officer, Edo Command, Chidi Nwabuzor, at the State Police Headquarters in Benin city.
Nwabuzor called on parents and guardians to caution their children and wards to desist from looting and destruction of public and private property.

The Police PRO assured members of the public of the commitment by the State Command in the protection of life and property.
According to the Government, the vandalised warehouse contained critical medical assets like vaccines, high end equipment and food supplies for exigencies.
