The Delta State Police Command has paraded 78 suspects over different degrees of crimes bordering on arson, invasion, and destruction of government property, and violations of the curfew imposed by the State government within the EndSARS protests period that were hijacked by hoodlums.
The suspects were tried and convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction and have been remanded in prison custody pending when they meet with their various fines.

At the point of transferring the suspects for onward conveyance to their prisons, a mild empathic drama ensued from one of the suspects.
Over 20 suspects were packed in each of the 18 sitting capacity buses amidst the COVID-19 pandemic for onward conveyance to the prisons, pending when they meet their various fines, thereafter Police Commissioner, Hafiz Inuwa addressed the journalists.

Twenty-two others whose crime was the violation of the curfew imposed by the state government were handed down two months prison custody with alternative fines of 10, 000 naira each.
