The Director of Clinical Services, at the federal teaching hospital, Ido Ekiti, Idowu Bakare, has lamented the continued negative impact of the ongoing resident doctors strike on both the patients and staff of the hospital.
He disclosed that despite the challenges posed by the strike, management had remained committed to regular service delivery.

The Director said that the hospital has relied mostly on the understanding of the consultants, to keep its operation going, and express worry over the stress currently being faced by these consultants.
