Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige says striking medical lecturers to suspend the ongoing action on Thursday after he meets with them.
The Minister in an exclusive chat with AIT said although the PhD requirement by the National Universities Commission, NUC for medical lecturers is not a bad idea, but some issues need to be properly understood.

Ngige a medical doctor himself said the doctors need to quickly return to their jobs to help curtail the Coronavirus and Lassa fever outbreaks among other life-threatening diseases.
