A delegation from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs l, Disaster Management and Social Development, headed by the Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouk arrived Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, to hand over relief materials worth millions of naira, to the State Government.
The relief materials are meant to assist victims of the recent Boko Haram attack in Garkida town.
8 trucks loaded with mostly food items, have been handed over to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

The trucks are expected to be conveyed to Garkida, to assist victims of the recent attack.
The Minister, Sadiya Umar-Farouk says, the relief items worth millions of naira consist of 3,000 25kg bags of rice, 2,500 bags of beans and 1,000 cartons of spaghetti among others.
Governor Fintiri while commending the efforts of the Federal Government called on journalists to be objective in their reportage and desist from politicising happenings affecting the comman man.
Members of the delegation include, the Chairman, North-East Development Commission, Major-General Paul Tarfa (Rtd) who is also a victim of the attack.
